Chirie
About Chirie
Chirie is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher. She received teaching
certification through Asheville Yoga Center and has studied meditation under a
Tibetan Geshe for six years. She has taught classes at Asheville Yoga Center and
has also taught at Namaste Yoga Center, various Fitness and Rehabilitation
Centers, Dance Schools, Hospitals, and community events. She teaches in the
following styles: Sivananda, Hot Flow, Vinyasa, Gentle/Restorative, and
Therapeutic. All ages, beginners through advanced are welcome and most physical
injuries and conditions can be accomodated.

Philosophy
Cherie's teaching includes postures, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy.
Great attention is given to use of the breath and internal awareness. Chirie is
influenced by many traditions and teaches a blend of these, shaping each class
to best meet the needs of each individual student. Yoga is a wonderful way to
reduce stress, develop optimal health, and (most importantly) to uncover your
natural strength and wisdom.
